The program assists with security deposits, first month’s rent or to stop evictions. Those applying must first apply for Emergency Shelter Allowance (ESA) at the Somerset County Assistance Office. Once there is a determination letter for ESA, then an application can be taken at Tableland Service, Inc. for the difference needed to resolve their emergency.
Those applying must fall at or below 200% for the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
